Short Biography:
Dr Chong Su Li, certainly is a seasoned educator and researcher with over 20 years of experience in literacy education. Their work, based at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Malaysia, is deeply rooted in sociocultural and transactional theories of reading, especially in multimodal and multilingual settings, with a particular emphasis on improving literacy outcomes for marginalized children. With a background that spans multiple academic roles, including lecturer positions at Linton College and Bandar Utama College, as well as trainee teaching at Tun Syed Shiekh Sahabuddin Secondary School, she has contributed significantly to both the academic and practical aspects of literacy education in Malaysia and beyond.
