Short Biography:

Dr Muhammad Ridhuan Tony Lim Bin Abdullah is a Associate Professor in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak which he served since 2008. He graduated from Universiti Malaya with a Masters in TESL and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. He is an academic professing for 20 years in TESL not limited to autonomous learning, life-long learning, and innovation on technology aided education encompassing instructional and learning practices as well as research and publication. He is a silver medallist award recipient of both International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo 2017(IPHEX) organized by SEEM and IFEES and in the 5th Teaching and Learning Innovation Festival to name a few.

However, he is also actively involved in consultancy, research and publication since 2010 in structural executive decision making in various industry sectors not limited to educational field but other sectors such as gerontology (physiotherapy and psychology care for aging), multicultural society management, carbon capture and storage risk management, health, safety and environment, behavioural management in Oil and Gas downstream sector, industrial performance management and public policy especially in energy and social security. He is a main referral for expertise in organisation strategic planning, corporate foresight, and stakeholders' management both training and solutions.

He was the Head of Energy Policy Group under Institute of Self-Sustainable Building of the university from 2018-2019 and Head of Governance and Public Policy research group under the same research institute from 2019-2020. He was also actively engaged as one of the lead coaches in Innovation Masterclass contributing PETRONAS working backwards culture modelling from AMAZON for corporate sustainability. Currently, he is an Associate Professor under the newly formed Humanities Unit, Faculty of Sciences, Management and Computing. He is still active in governance and public policy related research such as Shariah-Compliant Medical Service Standard Framework, Governance index, Futures State study to name a few.
