Short Biography:

Ts. Dr. Mohana Sundaram Muthuvalu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Science at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, where he also serves as the Programme Manager for the Master of Science in Predictive Analytics. He is a Professional Technologist (Ts.) accredited by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA), United Kingdom.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Mathematics with Economics and a Ph.D. in Mathematics (specialising in Numerical Analysis) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, completed in 2006 and 2012, respectively. His research focuses on the development of advanced numerical algorithms to address complex problems in science and engineering. His expertise spans numerical analysis of differential and integral equations, computational science, and computational neuro-oncology. Dr. Mohana has authored over 150 publications, including journal articles, book chapters, conference papers, and a published book. His research has attracted competitive funding from both international and national agencies and earned multiple awards recognising excellence in research and education.
