Dr Yew is a senior lecturer and a program leader of Information System postgraduate studies at the Computer Information Sciences Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. I have acquired my PhD and Bachelor's Degree from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Information Technology; and from Cornell University, NY a Master of Engineering in Computer Science. I am also certified in IREB Certified Professional Requirements Engineering (CPRE), Sun/Oracle Java programmer (SCJP), ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), MS Azure Fundamental AZ-900 and MS Azure AI Engineer. He specialize in software engineering, IOT and Artificial Intelligence systems, with over 18 years of providing professional consultancy, system development services and training to PETRONAS Group Technology Services, PETRONAS Group Project Development, INTEL and Maybank just to name a few. I have worked on system design and development in the following domains: CO2 capture, HSSE, Electrical Safety, Process Safety and Civil Constructability Review. Besides publishing in journals and conferences, I have authored several Oxford-Fajar Malaysia ICT textbooks at the undergraduate, matriculations, polytechnic and secondary school levels. A notable contribution is the Computer Science Textbook for Form 4 Secondary school with the Malaysian Ministry of Education.
