Short Biography:

Ir Dr Mazian Mohammad is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, consultation and administrative leadership within the higher education and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, with extensive experience in program accreditationand faculty coordination. Demonstrated expertise in Mechanical Engineering, she is also the Programme Manager of MSc Asset Management and Maintenance. As a co-leader of Digital Analytics Structural Integrity Technology Group, she has led various projects and research grants and actively participate in many innovation competitions.

She was previously held various key positions at Universiti Selangor, including Head of Program for Mechanical Engineering at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and Project Engineer for the Department of Development and Maintenance. A committed educator and leader, with a passion for fostering academic growth, managing complex engineering projects, and driving research initiatives that bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Proficient in leading teams, managing academic programs, and contributing to the development of curricula and institutional strategies. Adept in research, with a focus on asset management, maintenance practices, and engineering advancements. She was recognized for strong administrative and organizational skills, with a deep commitment to advancing both educational and operational excellence
