Short Biography:
Mazuin Jasamai has been an active lecturer at the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS for more than 14 years. She is the Coordinator for Teaching and Learning, which involves various workshops and training to enhance students experiences inside and outside the classroom. She has experience teaching courses such as Fundamentals of Petroleum Exploration Engineering. She exposes her students to experiential learning through various field trips around Geopark Lembah Kinta Perak and Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. Mazuin also has experience teaching Reservoir Rock Properties and Reservoir Fluid Properties course that involve laboratory experiments. She obtained her MSc from IFP School in France (2010). Currently, she is pursuing her PhD as a part-time candidate at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Mazuin Jasamai specializes in reservoir engineering, covering aspects of exploration and production. Her research capability is specifically focused on flow assurance, as portrayed through the cumulative research grant values of over RM500,000 secured from various international, national, and consultancy resources.
