Short Biography:
Dr. Maged Nasser is a Lecturer with the Department of Computing at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS since September 2023. His research focus on fake and spam news detection based on deep learning, Molecular similarity searching based on deep learning. He specializes in in computer science disciplines includes Arti?cial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, data mining, Similarity Searching, Data clustering, Virtual screening and cheminformatics. He received the bachelors degree in mathematics and computer science from Ibb University, Yemen, in 2013, the Master of Computer Science degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree majoring in molecular similarity searching based on deep learning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, in 2022. From September 2022 to August 2023, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with Universiti Sains Malaysia..
