Senior Lecturer

Ir. Dr. Anis Suhaila binti Shuib is a distinguished academic and professional engineer currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). She holds an extensive educational background, including a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, an ME in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Auckland, and a BEng from the University of Leeds. Her professional standing is marked by her status as a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (MIChemE), and a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Her research expertise lies at the intersection of chemical engineering and medical science, specifically focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), bio-fluid mechanics, and bio-materials. Dr. Anis specializes in the modeling of human blood flow to better understand cardiovascular conditions such as aneurysms and stenosis, as well as the development of 3D-printing materials for biomedical applications.
